Rumor: The Police to Play Fenway Park on 7/28-29

police.jpgFor anyone like that is a huge fan of The Police, I've got an incredible rumor to share with you...

The Police are planning a reunion tour and it looks like they may be coming to Boston this summer. Sting, drummer Stewart Copeland and guitarist Andy Summers will re-unite this Sunday at the Grammy Awards on CBS to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the band. A tour is expected to follow. WBZ has confirmed reports they are looking to hold two shows at Fenway Park, July 28 and July 29.

That can only mean that they're going to try something similar for us fans in Chicago (Wrigley Field anyone?), so I'll be watching this like a hawk over the next couple months as the news and rumors continue to pour in.

Don't forget to tune in for the Grammys this Sunday for the televised, officially reunion of the three original members of the band. I can't wait.

This is very believable. As the article says Fenway always has a huge act in July.
