NPR Music Webcast Tonight: The Raconteurs

filed under: , | tags:

I know what I'll be up to tonight.

NPR Music is live webcasting The Raconteurs in concert tonight at www.NPR.org/music, as part of its popular “Live in Concert” series. The sold-out show from Washington, D.C.’s renowned 9:30 Club will begin at approximately 10:00PM (ET). All Songs Considered’s Bob Boilen hosts the concert, which will be streamed live and archived at www.NPR.org/music. [NPR Music]

This band just really has everything that I'm looking for and I really hope they continue to make records. They're really hyping up their Consolers of the Lonely, one that I haven't spent enough time with but I thoroughly enjoy. I also like the way these songs translate live.

It freakin' rocked. I can't wait to see them at Lollapalooza. Has anyone found a set list for the show yet? I want to know the name of the song after " The Switch and the Spur".

Lindsey,

I think it was Benson's "Shades of Black", right?

I love that its like a music video but played live and not lip synched. a whole new version of the song. there should be more stylized single song performances in general! costumes, too.

Lindsey,

It was a cover of "Keep It Clean" by Charlie Jordan.
