Time to start planning and waiting for the late nights and dailies to roll in over the coming months. Who are you excited to see? And also, who’s the “TBA” on there? GeorgiaTheatre

A while back we posted about the Georgia Theatre’s efforts to raise money to rebuild their classic Atlanta venue after a tragic fire.

Hometown heroes, the Zac Brown Band, are stepping up to the plate to help them raise money and awareness by playing a benefit gig this Fri, Oct 30th at the nearby Fox Theatre. Tickets are $100 a piece, but proceeds go directly to The Georgia Theatre Rehabilitation Fund.

While it’s obviously for a good cause, it’s also a good chance to catch a band at a smaller, more intimate venue than the larger arenas and amphitheatres they’re starting to play these days. Say what you will, “Toes” is catchy as hell. I dig.
