Lineup tomorrow!
Don’t forget that the lineup for Hangout Music Fest is coming out tomorrow. We’re hearing that Wilco is going to be on the lineup, too, along with Jack White who was announced late last week.
Bon Iver is following up their weekend performance on SNL by announcing a set of West Coast tour dates surrounding the band’s scheduled appearances at both Coachellas before moving easterly towards their appearance at Jazz Fest.
The Bowlive III lineups are coming together more and more every day. Skerik, Zach Deputy and Allen Stone were just added as the guest support for the March 6th show. More artist announcements will come this week… READ MORE

In cased you missed it, Wilco has announced that its own three-day Solid Sound Festival will be officially taking 2012 off, but will return in 2013. The next Solid Sound Festival will take place June 21-23, 2013, at MASS MoCA in North Adams, MA. However, the band will still be performing a 2012 benefit show for Mass MoCa at the North Adams, MA museum this summer (exact date still TBA). READ MORE

The growing sensation that is the Tuareg desert blues band Tinariwen of Mali passed through New Orleans on November 7th for a show at the House of Blues. Marc Pagani was there and captured some amazing footage and photos (see below) of the band’s performance.
Wilco stopped by the NPR Music offices and filmed a Tiny Desk Concert that was just posted this morning. The band plays three new cuts (“Dawned On Me,” “Whole Love” & “Born Alone”) and finished off with one of my favorites, “War On War.” You’ve got to see how Glenn Kotche rocks the drums on this one…
