Moog and Paste Magazine have partnered on a new video series called Live At Moog to highlight Moog Music’s array of old-school synths and effects pedals. The five-week video series will feature bands/artists — like Medeski, Martin & Wood, Matisyahu, and Yo La Tengo — doing live studio sessions from the Moog factory in Asheville, NC. The series is also sponsored by the local Asheville folks over at Music Allies. Check out the upcoming schedule of sessions:
Yo La Tengo – Episode 1 – December 2009 (available today)
White Rabbits – Episode 2 – December 2009
Medeski, Martin & Wood – Episode 3 – December 2009
Matisyahu – Episode 4 – December 2009
Jojo Hermann – Episode 5 – January 2010
Erin McKeown & Jill Sobule – Episode 6 – January 2010
Pretty Lights – Episode 7 – January 2010
moe. – Episode 8 – January 2010
Apparently, this is just the first videos series with another to follow next Spring.
