Although Tom Hamilton is best known as the lead singer, guitarist, and laptop guru for electronic-rock band Brothers Past, he’s also got a burgeoning–and in my opinion underrated–side-project called American Babies. With the Babies, Tommy sets aside his array of electronics and effects pedals to focus on a kind of rock-based style of Americana that’s much more of a classic singer/songwriter approach than the jammier, dance-oriented style of BP.
After a really solid first release back in 2008, the Babies are back with new record, called Flawed Logic, which is due out on April 19th.
