The organizers over at SnowGlobe Music Festival have started “leaking” out the names of the other bands fit for the bill. While they say it’s not official yet, this post on Twitter implies that they’re clearly not really concerned with making it obvious or not. They tweeted out names of bands and links to YouTube videos they like, and the official press release will be coming tomorrow.
Then they said this:

In addition to the already announced headliners of Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, Thievery Corporation and The Glitch Mob, the folks putting on the festival will (probably) be adding the following artists:
Kraddy, Blockhead, Dillon Francis, Mux Mool, NastyNasty, Antiserum, Big Gigantic, Porter Robinson, Ill-Esha, Eliot Lipp, Fishbone, The M Machine, & Tipper

For fans of the Disco Biscuits, Memorial Day Weekend means that you’re hanging out in Colorado taking in the festivities surrounding the annual Bisco Inferno celebration. The official party is at Red Rocks tomorrow, with Booka Shade, Aeroplane, The Glitch Mob and Pnuma Trio helping out the band with an all-day affair at the famous amphitheater. Tonight the band plays in Denver at the Odgen Theater, which follows up a pretty successful start to the weekend with yesterday’s flash mob and rage-fest show that got people into the Bisco mood. Here are a few of the more interesting “musical costumes” we’ve seen announced this year:

After finally getting to see Red Rocks for the first time with the four-night Phish run, I’m instantly drawn to the Monolith Festival given the location and the lineup this year. There’s some really solid stuff on the bill, but there’s enough overlap in the coming months that I think I’ll get to see most of these artists in another setting, albeit nothing like the iconic Red Rocks Ampitheatre. I had an incredible time at the venue itself, so throw in some of the best indie bands of the moment and you’ve got yourself a solid two-day festival. READ MORE
