The lineup for this year’s Mountain Jam was just released. Steve Winwood and Gov’t Mule will be headlining, with Michael Franti & Spearhead, The Roots, Ben Folds Five, The Word, Trombone Shorty and tons others joining them for the weekend of May 31-June 3 (right after Memorial Day) back on Hunter Mountain in NY. Eric Clapton has announced his 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival, a day-Long Festival at Chicago’s Toyota Park on June 26, with sets by the likes of the Allman Brothers Band, ZZ Top, Steve Winwood, BB King, Jeff Beck, Vince Gill, Sheryl Crow, Buddy Guy, John Mayer, and of course, Eric Clapton.
All profits from the festival will benefit The Crossroads Centre in Antigua, a treatment and education facility founded by Clapton for chemically dependent persons. Tickets go on sale February 20.

I go to very few large arena shows these days, but those MSG dates with Jeff Beck are mighty tempting. Hmmm.
