Jamtronia Supergroup Younger Brother in New York City Tonight

Have you guys heard of this Younger Brother thing? For some reason I thought this was a totally new project, but I guess I wasn’t paying attention last year when the original announcements came out.

Younger Brother LIVE is (Shpongle), Benji Vaughan (), Marc Brownstein (The ), Tom Hamilton (Brothers Past, American Babies), (The Duo), and Ruu Campbell.

The supergroup is playing tonight at Terminal 5 in New York City, then tomorrow at Sonar in Baltimore, then Saturday at the Theatre of Living Arts in Philly. The band finishes their announced run at Camp Bisco which is fast approaching. Is anybody hitting these shows that can report back for us? I want to hear how these come out.

The Disco Biscuits just capped off a Winter/Spring Tour that many fans feel was one of their strongest and most consistent tours in the last few years. The band also finalized plans for the eighth incarnation of their signature music festival, Camp Bisco, which takes place July 16-18, returning again to the Indian Lookout Country Club in Mariaville, New York outside of Albany.

As in years past, the Biscuits have pulled together a solid lineup of bands and DJ’s that tend towards electronic dance music but include plenty of exceptions to that rule:
