The Sasquatch Music Festival has released their 2012 lineup, and as usual, it’s a doozy. Headliners included Beck, Bon Iver, Jack White, Pretty Lights, Tenacious D and The Shins, all amongst a virtual who’s who of the best independent artists playing today. The grounds are being prepared in Golden Gate Park for this weekend’s second incarnation of the Outside Lands Music Festival, an event that I’ll be in attendance for once again this year. I’m excited for the weekend and the good lineup, and I’m looking forward to seeing a few bands that I’ve never seen before. YouTube to Webcast Outside Lands 2009

The battle for the live concert webcast dominance just got a bit more interesting with the announcement that YouTube was selected as the Outside Lands Music Festival webcast partner, something that they’ve never actually done before. I knew about this for a few weeks and should have announced it, but my sources are all gainfully employed YouTubers who don’t want to get fired for revealing top secret internal information.
