Last night, Rodrigo y Gabriela and Los Amigos Invisibles were joined by the amazing Los Angeles Philharmonic in an equally amazing setting at the Hollywood Bowl. Continue on for a full photo gallery from the show that produced some musical fireworks between the virtuosic (yet classically un-trained) Mexican guitar duo and accompanying symphony. The show was conducted by Miguel Harth-Bedoya, Music Director of the Fort Worth Symphony, serving up a few world standards before Los Amigos Invisibles (and the “National Anthem” to open) took to the stage) began their abbreviated but upbeat set. The dates for the Outside Lands Music Festival were announced first thing yesterday morning, and ever since we’ve seen a slew of clues coming across on the official Twitter account of the festival character created for the event, Ranger Dave. My buddy Pete did the research and kept up on the clues, and he’s pretty confident that the list below is at least partially correct.

2010 Hangout Music Festival Lineup Additions: Ben Harper, the Flaming Lips, Trey Anastasio

We wrote about the all-new Hangout Music Festival a few weeks back, but now they’ve added a bunch of artists to their 2010 lineup, including Ben Harper & Relentless 7, the Flaming Lips, Trey Anastasio and Classic TAB, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Rodrigo y Gabriela, and the Funky Meters. The festival is slated for May 14-16 at The Hangout and nearby public beach in Gulf Shores, AL.
