Pinback is one of those bands that I felt like I got to way too late, like I had already missed their indie glory years and that they were going to be this band that I had to go see in arenas now. I’m not sure that ever totally came true, but when I hear this band I often wonder why some of their music hasn’t hit into more of a cross-over territory where these guys are on stage at major music festivals along side the Broken Social Scenes and Built to Spills of the world.

You can’t watch that and not wonder what else these guys have locked up in their 800 or so EP’s left deep in their discography. I honestly love their stuff and most of the recorded material from them I’ve heard has been something that you immediately want to listen to again, so I’m stoked to finally see them live when they hit Bimbo’s here in SF towards the end of the tour.
