The schedule for Lollapalooza 2010 has been released, and there will be some tough decisions to make if you’re planning on attending the festival.

You’ve got a few of the following schedule conflicts to decide between:

  • vs. – Having seen the Black Keys in the setting, timed to coincide with the hottest part of the day on the biggest stage farther away from me than I had ever wanted to walk, I found myself blown away by their ability to captivate a rather large crowd. Many of us sat in the trees at the edge of the park and listening attentively to some dirty, blues rock to get us through the heat. If you’re at a point in your intoxication where dancing is your vibe, then you’ll be at Hot Chip. But I’m guessing a lot of you will be relaxing somewhere to take in The Black Keys, which is likely where I would be if I was going to make it to the fest this year.

Post image for NPR Music to Live Webcast from Bonnaroo 2010: Flaming Lips, Dave Matthews Band, Kings of Leon and more

npr.org/music

NPR Music strikes wonderfully again; they just announced that they’ll be broadcasting over 40 sets from this year’s Bonnaroo Music Festival beginning next Thursday.

Music, together with three partner public radio stations, sets up camp by the four main stages at this year’s Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, presenting three days of live webcasts with dozens of performances from popular musicians. From June 11-13, NPR Music, together with Member stations KUT Austin, The Current from Minnesota Public Radio and WFUV New York, team up to offer more than 40 full sets from acts taking the Festival’s Which, What, This, and That stages, including The , , , Nas and Damian Marley, , , , The Flaming Lips (performing Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon), , Jay Electronica, , , and .

If you’ve followered their coverage of SXSW in the past, you know that these webcasts (and subsequently archived sets) are top notch. This will likely be a few sets I set my watch to. We’ll post the schedule when we get it.

The lineup for Outside Lands is expected to drop first thing tomorrow morning with a video by Eclectic Method that will air on SFWeekly.com, but ahead of that, we’ve got the latest and greatest list of rumored performers that will be making an appearance in Golden Gate Park this year for the fest. The top of the lineup will feature Furthur, My Morning Jacket, Phoenix, and potentially Arcade Fire, all of which seem perfectly suited for this year’s condensed version of the festival. That’s a decent amount of bang for the buck if you snatch up tickets right away…

The lineup has hardly been kept a secret so far, especially with the Ranger Dave clues that were solved via the community of followers on their Twitter account.
