The Mountain Jam Music Festival has announced additions to its 2010 lineup, including Alison Krauss & Union Station (featuring Jerry Douglas), as well as a number of special guests who will play “Levon Helm’s 70th B-day Jubilee” including Warren Haynes, Ray LaMontagne, Steve Earle, Patterson & David Hood and Jackie Greene.
Alabama’s Hangout Music Festival has announced its initial 2010 lineup, which so far includes Zac Brown Band, John Legend, The Black Crowes, Gov’t Mule, and Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas.
The festival is slated for May 14-16 at The Hangout and nearby public beach in Gulf Shores, AL. For tickets and more info, hit hangoutmusicfest.com.

Merlefest has announced its 2010 line-up, featuring classic Bluegrass and “Traditional-plus” music from the likes of Doc Watson, Jerry Douglas, the recently ‘Bluegrassified’ Elvis Costello, and a number of other heavy-hitters in the broader Bluegrass realm. The Wilkesboro, North Carolina festival will take place April 29 – May 2, 2010, and will celebrate its 23rd year in existence.
