
This weekend, iClips will be webcasting sets from this year’s New Orleans Jazz Festival, where our esteemed Editor-in-Chief is currently having a blast. The broadcast starts Saturday and includes some big-name sets like Arcade Fire, Jeff Beck, Robert Plant, Jimmy Buffett and Wilco, along with some more classic NOLA Jazz Fest artists like Allen Toussaint, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Galactic, George Porter Jr., and the Neville Brothers. The annual Beale Street Music Festival is back with its 2010 Lineup. Beale Street takes place at Memphis, TN’s Tom Lee Park between April 30th and May 2nd and, like Milwaukee’s Summerfest, the lineup includes a little something for everyone across the musical spectrum. Eric Clapton has announced his 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival, a day-Long Festival at Chicago’s Toyota Park on June 26, with sets by the likes of the Allman Brothers Band, ZZ Top, Steve Winwood, BB King, Jeff Beck, Vince Gill, Sheryl Crow, Buddy Guy, John Mayer, and of course, Eric Clapton.
All profits from the festival will benefit The Crossroads Centre in Antigua, a treatment and education facility founded by Clapton for chemically dependent persons. Tickets go on sale February 20.

I go to very few large arena shows these days, but those MSG dates with Jeff Beck are mighty tempting. Hmmm.
