Umphrey's McGee @ Catskill Chill 2011
There’s even more Couch Tour goodness for you to take advantage of this holiday season. iClips has announced that they’ll be webcasting Umphrey’s McGee’s entire NYE run live from The Pageant in St. Louis, MO:
In true Umphrey’s tradition, they will serve up seven sets throughout the weekend, ringing in the new year with an all star horn section featuring Jeff Coffin (Dave Mathews Band, Bela Fleck & The Flecktones) and Mad Dog’s filthy little secret. You can count on a smattering of surprises on all three nights as UM always ends the year with a bang. And now you can join in the festivities from the comfort of your own couch with these exclusive webcasts. Presale for the event starts today for only $7.99 per show or $21.99 a three show package. Prices will increase to $9.99 on the day of show so hop on it.
Man, between this and the Phish webcast, the jam-hungry peeps among us really don’t have much reason to leave the couch this week.
STS9 just announced that they’ll be broadcasting their two Red Rocks shows for fans at home via iClips.net, but sadly it won’t be for free like a variety of the other iClips broadcasts that we typically like to post around these parts. The band is playing this Friday and Saturday down in Austin at Stubb’s and heading to Chicago from there to rage proper on the North Coast Music Festival. I may be able to catch their gig at the Congress, which would be rad considering I’ll be in town for a wedding. Score.
This year sees the band kicking off their Fall Tour in classic style at Red Rocks Amphitheater on September 9th & 10th with a great line-up including Snoop Dogg, Up Until Now, Savoy and LTJ Bukem. This year’s opening acts will continue the tradition of diversifying the lineup by bringing in Hip-Hop legend Snoop Dogg and Drum n’ Bass legend LTJ Bukem to anchor the nights.
iClips is extremely excited to be there to bring you all the action once again LIVE, and in HD, from Red Rocks. Stay tuned for more details coming soon including price and show times.

Last night during the Phish set at Austin City Limits Festival, there was a ton of chatter about getting their set rebroadcast on iClips.net to fill in one of the main TBA slots that was still listed on their schedule. I didn’t think it would happen, but Phish approved it and their set will be broadcast tonight at 9:30pm CST. iClips posted the news right when they got it.
Awesome. I’ll be trying to tune in an hour early to catch the LCD Soundsystem set.
