The Sasquatch Music Festival has released their 2012 lineup, and as usual, it’s a doozy. Headliners included Beck, Bon Iver, Jack White, Pretty Lights, Tenacious D and The Shins, all amongst a virtual who’s who of the best independent artists playing today. In case you missed it, the lineup for this year’s Wakarusa Music Festival was finalized late last week. Topping the bill is a solid eclectic mix with Pretty Lights, The Avett Brothers and Primus all set to headline the festival, with LMB favorites Umphrey’s Mcgee, Girl Talk, Ghostland Observatory, Big Gigantic, EOTO, Orgone, Blitzen Trapper and tons more joining them to round out the festival’s ninth year in operation.
The festival returns to the Ozarks on May 31-June 3, 2012 and tickets are still on sale. READ MORE

The second round of artists have been announced for Wakarusa 2012. Joining Pretty Lights on the headliner slot will be Primus as they’re gearing up for tons of dates still supporting their last effort, Green Naugahyde

Yesterday at Outside Lands was amazing; the weather was perfect all day, the music was fantastic and I was in an abundance of crew featuring many of my good friends for 100% of the day. It’s hard to do better than that, but we’ll all give it a shot with today’s third and final day of the festival. Tomorrow I hope a 7am flight to Chicago for three nights at UIC in Chicago, so holler if you’re out at the festival today or if you’re going to be at UIC. >>>
The lineup for this year’s Voodoo Experience music festival in New Orleans has been something we’re covering a bit better over at our sister site, LMB NOLA, but if you’ve been paying attention you know that it’s a blast from the past, 1990′s style. Headlining this year’s festival will be Soundgarden, who’ve returned to the stage with a reunion this year and nailing the nostalgia thing big-time for our friends over at Coventry Music. Along with that major reunion, this year’s festival will welcome Snoop Dogg and a return to form by Blink-182 as the big names on the lineup. Plus LMB faves Major Lazer & Girl Talk and relative newcomers Givers would get all the attention from us they rightfully deserve. The lineup for Bonnaroo 2011 is now official.
Eminem is the name at the top with Arcade Fire, Widespread Panic, The Black Keys, Buffalo Springfield and My Morning Jacket all getting in line right behind him. Oh, and Lil Wayne. Christ a milli.
