
Camp Bisco, the Disco Biscuits’ annual electronic music festival, recently added a slew of new acts to their 2011 lineup. The festival is now in its tenth year in existence and will take place July 7-9 at the Indian Lookout Country Club in Mariahville, NY. The latest artist additions include Shpongle, Ratatat, Special Disco Version DJ Set (featuring James Murphy and Pat Mahoney), The New Deal, Four Tet, Conspirator, The Japanese Popstars, Orchard Lounge, Alex English, and JDH & Dave P.
In other Biscuits news, the band also recently unveiled a new website, along with an announcement of a new studio album and a behind-the-scenes studio video of the album’s production. The new album is called Otherwise Law Abiding Citizens and is tentatively slated for a summer release. Check out the video below for some serious Barber shredding (~min 10:00):
The Biscuits have a few sporadic summer dates lined up and they’ve announced their involvement in the all-new traveling electronic show, the Identity Festival, which is yet to be fully announced in terms of all the dates and details. But more immediately, they’re gearing up for their annual Colorado run otherwise known as Bisco Inferno.
