Well, it’s been a long week of recovering from “festival flu” after just two days at Bumbershoot 2010; it was so bad that we couldn’t get out of bed Monday morning to catch the last day of the festival. The second annual Harvest of Hope Foundation Music and Arts Festival has announced the schedule for their massive 2010 lineup.
HOH 2010 takes place March 12-14th at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds in St. Augustine, Florida. The Harvest of Hope Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides financial, educational, and service oriented aid to migrant farm workers all over the country.
I went down there on Saturday and caught me some Dr. Dog, then Billy Bragg, then Galactic, and finally Neko Case to finish off my day. I had a great sunburn when I got home, too.
Speaking of Dr. Dog and Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, I forgot to post the lineup on this when it got posted. Or was it just posted today? I didn’t make it out for this at all last year, but you can believe I’ll be in Golden Gate Park for most of that weekend. You really can’t beat a free music festival. READ MORE
