backyard-tire-fireBackyard Tire Fire, the boys from Bloomington, IL, are heading out on the road this summer right after they finish a local residency in their hometown. Their drummer used to serve me pizza slices regularly while I was in college (I believe it was called Jake’s Pizza), and I used to go see Brother Jed, Ed Andersen’s first band, at the infamous Illinois State University Lacrosse House. If you’ve been there, you’re instantly my new best friend.

Go check them out in support of their latest release, The Places We Lived.
