Since arriving yesterday we’re constantly and consistently impressed with the level of though and detail that went into the planning and production. The grounds are clean – although the portable toilets aren’t. Evidently it’s an ongoing issue that I hope improves – or we’ll have to post poocano pics.

I’m out the door in a bit to go see 30db at the Great American Music Hall and I’m catching up on their grooves and melodies by making sure I’ve listened all the way through their first release, One Man Show. This should be a chilled-out night of good tunes and I can’t wait. Our buddy Chris got me all pumped for it by sending me these photos of the boys in 30db at Lincoln Hall when they rolled through Chicago earlier this month. Read on for the full gallery.

You may have caught the news a while back that long-time collaborators Brendan Bayliss (Umphrey’s McGee) and Jeff Austin (Yonder Mountain String Band) recently formed a new project called 30db. They’ve got their first release, a full-length disc called One Man Show set to drop tomorrow and they just finished a few dates to warm up to the release. Our buddy Chris will be sending us some photos from the show they just played in Chicago, and I’ll likely be at Great American Music Hall when they roll through town in a week or so. READ MORE
