Bonnaroo 2006 is underway, the webcast is starting today at 12:30pm CST, and people are already writing in on the festivities.
I'm hoping to have some folks on-site provide me with some updates, so I'll keep posting those here as I get them. Enjoy!
Update: 6/17 12pm

Someone took a rip of the Oysterhead webcast and it's fantastic! Go here for more links as they arise (or before the thread gets removed) and hope to find a free slot on this link for the video download.
Here's a link for the Tom Petty video rip of the Bonnaroo webcast (more here).
From the NY Times...
Even with Radiohead as headliner, the hippie side hasn't exactly disappeared from Bonnaroo. Visions of the 1960's are all over the festival. Those old enough to actually remember the era are either headliners or senior staff members, but that doesn't stop younger acts from trying to capture the vibe, as it were.

FYI. Stevie Nicks will be taking the stage tonight with Tom Petty, and Mike Gordon will be reunited with Trey on Sunday night. All on blue room webcast www.blueroom.att.com
this oysterhead set is off the chizzzarts.
Seriously, this is the goods. They sound friggin' ridiculous after the necessary song and a half to work out the kinks...not playing in four years will do that. This is a super-impressive performance.
Les and Stuart sound pretty damn good together and Trey's bringing his A-game. It's unbelievable what Trey's still capable of when paired with musicians that challenge and push him. So Stuart won the NBA title with the Sonics in 1979, right? That would explain the outfit.
So happy I'm catchin' this...sounds incredible. That Army's on Ecstasy was serious business. Tour in the fall boys!
I'm so bummed --
This was totally on during my commute. I should have stayed at work to finish watching this. Damnit!
Ace: go back to any old school Stew photo and that's what he's wearing. Supposedly -- he used to be big into roller-skating. Cringe...
I'll have to watch the archived version soon...
Wow, i'm watching Bright Eyes (one of my favorite bands) as we speak. and I am speachless. I wish i was there, anyone recording this, if so please email me :).
Mike
Justin check PT there is sendspace link floating around of it. I haven't DL it yet because I am still regretting the 3 Oysterhead shows I saw when they toured. But I am going to check it out now because everyone is fluffing it.
dan: I'm on it. 25 minutes left until pure Oysterhead live joy joy!
I just got an open spot it looks looks like 30 minutes for me. I got the Tom Petty video and it was great. Have heard anything about the MMJ set. I really want to know what they played more than that they covered Loving Cup.
Update: I just watched the Oysterhead webcast. It takes them a couple songs definitely but all of a sudden it just becomes amazing. Excellent playing by all and it truly sounded more cohesive than when I saw them in 2001. I second, Ace -- tour in the fall!
Here is a link to a torrent that has been going since last night.
Its the Oysterhead web-rip; full show at about 300kbps in all it's glory!

I hope someone recorded the Bright Eyes set :X
Hey. my brother is at Bonnaroo right now and he told me about the Umphrey's and the disco biscuits show. can anyone help me out on where to fined a site where i can listen to it. i've looked EVERYWHERE. My brother told me that the show was bad ass and really crazy. if Anyone knows anything else let me know.
Thanks
Justin did you watch the MMJ performance? This set is unreal.
Hahah I was there. Oysterhead's set wasn't all that good, I preferred to see Les in his own element the next day, and Trey & Mike with Benevento Russo and Phil Lesh in Superjam. It didn't seem like the Oysterhead shit, that was so hyped... was all that good. I don't know.
