Cell Phone PGroove at Martyrs

filed under: | tags:

Last night was awesome. Whit and I got together, took a walk over to Martyrs, saw a fun Perpetual Groove show (most of it), marveled at the fact that the bassist of the band had to be my friend robotic's Doppelgänger, and got some fantastic photos. Here's something I got from my cameraphone.

Perpetual Groove @ Martyrs

I think we're going tonight, too. If so, stay tuned for plenty more photos where that came from...

That was a wicked show last night, with about 20-30 people when they started. Brock and the guys are some of the friendliest personal guys I have met. Very humble, relaxed, and willing to talk. Third time I saw them at martyr's. I would think Friday might be a better showing from a crowd perspective, but don't miss these guys when they are in your town! I have urged Brock to play a Do Your Thing every time here. I may not go, but those of you that do, I hope you enjoy it if they bust it out. I swore they were going into a Stranglehold last night. And what's up with Martyr's giving no love to the Bulls last night. Completely unwilling to play the game before they took the stage.
