Road Recovery - 10th Anniversary Benefit Concert

I've known the people at Road Recovery for years, and today got word of a very interesting show they have put together.

In honor of their tenth anniversary Road Recovery is putting on a benefit show at the Nokia Theater in New York City on April 17th featuring friends/supporters Slash, Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine), Jerry Cantrell (Alice in Chains), Denis Leary, Wayne Kramer (MC5), and other surprise guests. Also featured will be a set by The Nightwatchman (Tom Morello, acoustic).

Road Recovery works to help young people find their way towards a healthy future through mentoring, educational and live performance based-programs. They are comprised of entertainment industry professionals whose lives have been touched by addiction and other adversities and now wish to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Recently, Trey Anastasio hosted a master class, where he discussed his own struggles with addition with a group of young people facing their own issues.

Tickets go on Sale Saturday at Noon, via Ticketmaster.
