tags: BuzzFeed examines the new popularity surrounding "green" rock tours. Radiohead is doing it, which means everyone else will be doing it in exactly 36 months. But we've already seen a lot of movement on this already in the live music industry. It seems that most of the major music festivals are taking steps to green their offering, also -- which means we're going to keep hearing a lot about carbon offsets without really knowing what all of that technological and socio-economic mumbo jumbo really means.
One thing's certain: Perry Farrell will most certainly be involved. And maybe Al Gore, too.
