Yeah -- that Pavement piece probably should have been removed. I didn't check those sources myself, assuming that the faithful at Wikipedia would...

I'm all for tooting the horn as loud as possible (and lord knows we do it too on the stories we've broken), but can you really employ the "You Heard It Here First" tactic when the post in question links to Jim Derogatis' scoop? Wouldn't you have heard it there first?!

We at Live Music Blog only toot our own horn when other people don't find it editorially reasonably to do so. It's sort of our mantra...

Very nice line up. I like (and i ve seen) Clap your Hands, Pavement, Pearl Jam and !!!.
Strange return of Pavement ("i don't like...Smashing Pumpkins"); Don't miss Clap your hands (nice with their first album and firm in the second despite the low fi on some tracks).
Enjoy if you go there and I hope i will get some tickets from this event for my blog.
