Brian Wilson to Perform ‘Pet Sounds’

Brian Wilson, the man behind the seminal Beach Boys Pet Sounds album, will be bringing the album out on the road to select cities across the country with fellow Beach Boy Al Jardine. This is definitely worth seeing; I’m really curious to see how it’ll measure up in the critics’ minds…

  1. He’s been doing the Pet Sounds thing for awhile now - at least six or so years - so it’s really not huge news besides the fact that Al Jardine will be along for the ride.

  2. Really? For some reason I thought this was bigger news, maybe just because it’s following the 40th Anniversary or whatnot…

  3. Yeah the whole 40th anniversary thing definitely makes it into bigger news. There was a live cd that came out back in 2002 of him doing Pet Sounds.
