Halloween Concerts are a-Brewin'

filed under:

sleepyhollow_02.jpgMany live music fans know that there are a couple special dates throughout the year where a few bands take their concerts to the next level -- namely, Halloween and New Year's Eve being the first ones that come to mind...

Vegoose takes this concept and effectively runs with it; Halloween weekend should be filled with amazingly awesome live shows and where better to take Halloween than Las Vegas. It makes perfect sense, really...

Both the Benevento/Russo Duo and STS9 have finalized their Halloween plans, specifically for Oct. 31. Let's see who else might have some Halloween tricks up their sleeves...

The East coast and the midwest get ALL the love. We need some out here on the West coast....

Devo, The Mutaytor and Tricky just don't cut it. Guess I'm going to have to go to Vegoose afterall.

I'm not a big Black Crowes fan, looks like I may be travelling for the holidays...

of course we still haven't heard from SCI, UM, KW, moe., Phil&Friends, The Duo, Mike Gordon, Fishman , Page, or WSP, and those are the artists I'm most likely to travel for. At this point I think I'd go anywhere in the US for Phil or WSP.

Right on, Andy...that's where I got a lot of them. :)

I bet Devo is awesome but I'm sure they don't necessarily do anything special. Who knows, though, really...

There will be a concert at every venue in NYC on Halloween because it is the opening night of CMJ. That week is going to rock really hard.
