Umphrey's McGee and the Disco Biscuits have been added to Bonnaroo 2006.
It looks like they're squeezing them into one tent for a special late-night show. SWEET.
WAIT A SECOND...
Didn't I just read that Tea Leaf Green was supposedly denied a spot at Bonnaroo for the following reason...
...our good friends at Superfly have a policy to try and not have back-to-back performances by the same band two years in a row. Applying this policy, we have been deemed inelligible to play this year...
Ouch, either Superfly is spewing lies to Tea Leaf Green or they simply love Umphrey's McGee too much...
Matisyahu and My Morning Jacket are also playing again. Not that they are bad bands, but Superfly is really lame if they tell one band that they have a certain policy and then book these other bands. Is Superfly getting too big for their britches?
Weaksauce for sure. Superfly is blowing it.
Well, Umphrey's and Radiohead are definitely two of my favorite bands, and a duel set between UM and the Biscuits will be out of this world, so it looks like I'll be sweatin' in TN again this year.
Although I am not going to Bonnaroo myself, I disagree with the tone of LMB's opinion piece. I posted why in a discussion thread about this blog post, on the Tea Leaf Green forum.

Sucks for Tea Leaf Green, they put on one heck of a show last weekend in Cleveland! Photos from it are now up on my site.
Hey, my friend at AC (who now won't shut up about Bonnaroo) said they've just confirmed Oysterhead is going to play--this for the first time since touring in 2001. This is HUGE news!
