Stewart Copeland Brings The Police Doc. to Sundance

filed under: | tags:

You know me, I'm a Police fan. So much so, actually, that I tend to rib anyone that says anything about Sting.

Anything. Ever.

"Yeah, I wish they were still The Police, but whatever..."

I'm sure that they don't like it, but I just can't help myself.

From Billboard.com...

Add "filmmaker" to drummer Stewart Copeland's list of credits. His documentary, "Everyone Stares: The Police Inside Out," will debut Jan. 22 at the Sundance Film Festival. The 74-minute film is culled from Super 8 movies Stewart shot from the band's early days in the mid-'70s through the early '80s.

Les Claypool actually helped him get the film submitted, surely once Les felt confident enough with his own offering, Electric Apricot: The Quest for Festeroo.

I want to see both.

Hi,

First, I like you blog.

Second, Copeland is awesome, remember him in that band that had something to do with dalmations? It ws a trio and after the Police? What waws the name of that band?

Third, we just started a sports and music blog at http://www.bestshowticketslasvegas.com/blog - please check it out.

Fourth, is it cool and proper netiquette to leave your own blog url in blog posts you make on others?

Thanks,
Mark

Mark: thanks for checking out the Stewart Copeland link. I'm not sure what band you're speaking of specifically, so I'm not even going to try to answer that...

And yes, it is normally considered poor form to post blind links to your blog when the correlation is hardly obvious. I don't care that much, but I know other people do...
