LMB Friend Ross wrote up a nice tutorial on how to get tickets to any Ticketmaster event -- a common feat that many still have difficulties with, myself included -- so I thought I'd drop some link science on you this morning...
Using the following steps, I have never been shut out of a concert or event that I wanted to attend. This includes getting tickets for the hugely popular Pearl Jam in Atlantic City shows.
Now, if only someone else would step into the ring and effectively knock Ticketmaster off their high horse, we'd be in good shape.

I used to be able to get tickets to any event I wanted. I can't anymore because other people found out my tricks and now they don't work as well.

Eh, my ability to get tickets was just made that much harder. I don't feel bad about using the word, although know that I was kind of shaking my head when I said that, not screaming.
If there's an event that has more people that want to go than tickets being sold, there's no way that everyone can get tickets.
The ultimate way to get tickets = start a music blog and *seem* somewhat legit. You'd be surprised how many road managers are willing to let you in the door regardless of what they might expect in return.
wow, what a shock. common sense for the potential ticket buying public. what's next? are we going to be able to download a clue?
