V Fest Heads to Australia
“After expanding this fall to the United States and Canada, the V Festival will visit Australia for the first time next spring. The event will be staged March 31 at Sydney’s Centennial Park and April 1 at the Avica Resort in the Gold Coast. Pixies and Gnarls Barkley will top-line the bills.” [Billboard]
I’m just not sure how realistic it is to expect that Gnarls Barkley can actually pull off the coveted headliner slot. In my eyes, there’s no way their costumes and “Crazy” are enough to really keep a bunch of drunk Aussies happy…

This is amazing news. I wish the Pixies would also stop by California one day. But I’m happy for you folks in Australia. You know great music when you here it.
