2006 Virgin Festival | Baltimore

Not to be confused with Virgin Festival | Toronto, Sir Richard Branson and his empire are taking it their hugely successful V Festival state-side to…Baltimore?

The lineup looks pretty sweet, though.

  1. This is what Lollapalooza should have been!

  2. Great lineup! And as a native Baltimoron, the Pimlico infield is a great place to party! Maybe I’ll have to fly home for that one…

  3. theres not much difference between this lineup and lollapalooza. most of the same folks are going to be at both.

  4. Yeah, it seems sweet but its not Lollapalooza and it costs 100 bucks for a 1 day concert ! I paid that much for a 3 day festival in WV (All Good)

As great as it sounds on the surface, its a rip off.

  8. This is an awful lineup. The moron who said this is what Lolla should have been is exactly that.. a fucking moron.

    Lolla had:
Broken Social Scene, The Hold Steady, Ryan Adams, Wilco

This doesn’t have shit except the New Pornos.

  9. yes, one of the most famous classic rock bands - the who - and new rock bands - rhcp - of all time really is an awful lineup. meanwhile the four bands you mentioned, chase, are nothingmen.

  10. To anyone calling anyone else a moron on this site, you will be banned if you do so again.

It pains me to see people log on to this site and think that there’s any merit to attacking each other regarding a festival lineup.

You want to attack someone? Take it up with Virgin.

    Otherwise, *yawn*

  11. I don’t know why the Virgin Festival has like 1/5 as many bands as Lollapalooza. I am so pissed off that Queens Of The Stone Age aren’t playing in Baltimore. Now, the only bands worth seeing are WOLFMOTHER, RHCP, RJD2, and Scissor Sisters- omg I can’t believe they are coming overseas.

  12. alright it may not have as good rock bands as lolla but this has DJ Tiesto. he is the greatest dj of all time and hes comin to baltiore! holy shit

  13. No matter what anyone says this lineup is crazy…The Who, one of the greats of rock, and the RHCP make it worth it alone. To say tickets are expensive, its around 5 bucks per band….and this concert has good bands unlike the stupid other ones that were cheaper.

  14. Does anyone know what the VIP tickets include besides parking and a Tee shirt?
