Festival Tip: Bring Earplugs
Not for the music, but for the mornings. No matter how late you stayed up, there will always be some Wookie in the next tent over who got drunk, stayed up all night, and now wants to blast gangsta rap at 8 AM. Earplugs will help you to avoid the noise and sleep late so you can be fresh for the next day’s festivities.

Gansta rap at a music festival? Seems out of place haha, but I guess there's a lot of out-of-place people at festivals...good tip though

Bandana or anything to cover your eyes.
The sun will rise extra bright and early at festivals.... and music will always play late.
If you expect any sleep, an eye shade is absolutely essential.
