I thank my lucky stars i was at 6.25.95 in dc and for phish 8.9.98 (5th row!!!!).

damn....a single post this late in the day - *and* it has a Phish
reference?!? Both of those are sad - the opposite of what today should be - a yearly celebration of his life. Play him loud!!!

today....for me.....it's Jerry and David Grisman - Arabia.

He started me down a life long path filled with the appreciation of

This reminds me, I just finished reading Phil Lesh's book/autobiography, Searching For The Sound I believe it's titled. *Excellent* read for a Dead fan, especially one like me who didn't get a chance to see the band or catch much of the history. Has a lot of insight into recording processes and interaction between the band members, and he even manages to make the "mushy" parts about meeting his wife interesting.
