Open Thread: Big Week for Live Music

With Jazz Fest starting and Coachella starting and finishing this weekend, clearly it's a big week (and weekend) for live music.

WHERE WILL YOU BE THIS WEEKEND?

Me...I'll be on the computer switching between the Jazz Fest webcast (courtesy of MSN) and the Coachella webcast (courtesy of AT&T Blueroom). Ahh, such is the glamorous life of a music blogger...

This weekend I will just be rockin' it in NYC but next week down to NOLA for Jazzfest.

I'm in your boat, Justin, just switching back and forth between the two webcasts. It kinda reminds me of watching Live8 on my TV while switching channels on the AOL webcast...

scooter: if it's worth it, I might have a couple live-blogs up if I'm really not doing much. Sunday I've got family stuff so you might need to keep an eye on the festivities...

Yeah I looking at NOJazzfest actually as a relaxing vacation instead of a music marathon like I normally do becasue there definetly seems like there is less stuff going on this year. But it should still be fun.

an upgrade in the sense I'll be less than 50 yards from Central Park...i'll be on 90th and CPW. I'm still living w/ a roomate so though and every other aspect is just as good as my current place or better.

I'll be at STS9 tomorrow night in Sayerville. First show I've gotten to in a long time actually. I'm quite excited to see what they can do this year.
