i recently saw Page perform in philly for the Wxpn Free concert at noon series. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I actually enjoyed the show. He was joined on stage by 4 others (guitar, bass, drums, and another keyboardist).

It was the band's first public performance, and at times you could tell, but overall the band sounded tight. The music was reminiscent of some phish songs, but also had its own funky feel in some regards. I feel that the band will put on quite a show and is worth the price of admission.

I would not expect too many phish covers, as i noticed that he would not even mention the name phish during the show. He did, however, comment on "his old band" and "his old friends". But who knows, Page might mix in some old classics to fill some time. This is his first album after all.
