Feist | New CD and Tour Dates

She’s been labeled everything from a modern torch singer to a retro indie rocker. Her MySpace lists her genre as indie/folk/alternative. Her EPK has her pegged down as a pop singer. And reportedly you can hear all of these facets of Feist and more on her newly announced 2007 CD, The Reminder. The album is a paean to creative conflagration; it came about in just two weeks time in one of those whirlwind experiences where connection between artists combusted into a fire of song. The Reminder will be released to the world on May 1st but will be available in Europe the week prior (release date 4/23/07). The first single, “My Moon My Man” can be heard on Feist’s web page.
Feist will be touring this year to support the new CD. Dates are as follows:
