Dar Williams Tour Dates

Dar Williams was one of the first female singer-songwriters that I saw perform live and she did the experience justice. She has this amazing ability to bring coffee-shop intimacy to a larger stage and make it work, drawing the audience in to the music to offer up a truly shared experience among the group of people attending her shows. I’ve seen her a few times since that first performance, and though her style has changed a bit over the years (moving from personal to more political and then settling somewhere in between), her indie folk rock style of performance has maintained its audience-friendly vibe. She’s got tour dates coming up (see after the jump), some of which include doing her art for a good cause.
