Last night was a late night for us in the crew, as we finished off an epic “Get the Led Out” Phish show and went straight from there to the Sixth Floor of the Trump Plaza to see Marco Benevento, Marc Friedman and Billy Martin play an after-party. I saw more music last night than I can accurately recount, but all I’ll say is I’m having a tremendous time and seeing some great live music along the way. Time to head out to get some Whitehouse Subs. Read on for last night’s crazy-ass setlist from the band and stay tuned for some live-tweets from the Halloween show tonight. Nobody knows what the album is…yet. We’ll have it for you when we get it. READ MORE

While we’re hearing mixed reports coming out of last night’s Phish show, it’s clear that the band is having fun and playing their “best” at the moment. Our friend Adam Marcinek was there last night to shoot the band and get some of the action up close.
Check out his amazing gallery of photos after the jump. See you in Atlantic City! READ MORE

Phish played a rager of a show last night in Manchester, NH, their first concert in the state in 16 years. Our very own @Phortin was there and said it was the best show he’s seen all year, hands down.
Here’s the setlist via phish.net…
Set 1: After Midnight, The Sloth, Alumni Blues > Letter to Jimmy Page > Alumni Blues[1], Mellow Mood, Access Me, Llama, All of These Dreams, The Curtain With > Scent of a Mule, A Song I Heard the Ocean Sing, It’s Ice, Walls of the Cave
Set 2: Possum > Light > Mike’s Song > Simple > Makisupa Policeman -> Night Nurse[2] -> Makisupa Policeman > The Wedge, Ghost -> The Mango Song > Weekapaug Groove[3] -> Llama Reprise
Encore: Show of Life
[1] “From Goddard College” added to lyrics.
[2] Phish debut.
[3] With Ghost and Night Nurse lyrics. With Can’t You Hear Me Knocking jam. Unfinished.
Notes: After Midnight was played for the first time since December 31, 1999 (206 shows). In Alumni, Trey added “from Goddard College” after the final “’cause I got a degree” lyric. This show featured the Phish debut of Night Nurse; original artist Gregory Isaacs passed away the night before, October 25, 2010. Weekapaug Groove featured lyrics from Ghost and Night Nurse as well as a Can’t You Hear Me Knocking jam and was left unfinished.
We were fortunate enough to have a photographer on hand for @LiveMusicBlog, so we’ll have a gallery up sometime today as we finish our week of work and prepare for our trip to Atlantic City. The band begins their three-night Halloween run on Friday night.
Phish @ Utica Memorial Auditorium, Utica, NY 10/20/10
Our friend Kevin Fuller recently shot the Phish show in Utica, NY and witnessed the madness that everyone has dubbed Guyutica.
Wednesday marked the return of Phish to New York with the band’s only stop in the empire state on its Fall tour. The guys packed one of the smaller venues I’ve seen the band in — and proceeded to (I’ll go ahead and use the cliché) blow the roof off the Memorial Auditorium in Utica. Literally, there were flames shooting out of the top of the Memorial Auditorium when I left. I dumped a Utica Club on it, which actually accelerated the flames.
So before Wednesday, I had a general rule of travel in terms of road trips. I appended those rules slightly thereafter.
Rules of traveling: 1. Avoid Utica at all costs. 2. Avoid drinking Utica Club beer. 3. You better make it to Utica if Phish — or anyone in the band — are playing there.
