Woah.
With ticket sales reported from the final dates of its 2010 Summer Tour, Phish takes the No. 1 spot on this week’s Hot Tours chart with a combined gross of $7.4 million from five markets.
Ticket prices are up for the fall tour, too, something that fans have taken to complain about especially considering that ticket-holders will now get “free” MP3′s from the show. But the tour is focusing on smaller venues and I’m almost okay with the higher price being commanded for the simple fact that these are going to be more intimate and allow a potentially closer interaction between fan and the band.
