STS9 and Disco Biscuits have officially reached crossover nirvana; Big Boi will be joining the jamband untz masters at their August 28th concert in Atlanta at Verizon Wireless Ampitheater. Mos Def was added to the lineup originally and he’ll also be opening for STS9 in Chicago on August 21st, but with Big Boi on the lineup they’ve got one of the big dogs that put Atlanta hip hop on the map. I have to imagine that’ll help ticket sales quite a bit. They’ll also be joined by Big Gigantic, John Hughes and supposedly a few more artists, which is shaping up to be a solid little day festival in Hotlanta. I would love to see a show like this.
