Grace Potter & the Nocturnals are currently on the road supporting their eponymous release, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals (duh!). I’m not sure I’ve been a huge fan of her work recently myself, but I know she still gets tons of attention on the festival scene which likely has nothing to do with what she wears (yeah right).

They played Mountain Jam recently and did this cover of Blondie when they rolled through New York City to play Webster Hall.

It didn’t take long for the smell of marijuana fill Webster Hall on June 12, in fact the entire night could have been a show from 1969. Grace Potter’s vocals and flower girl stage persona are eerily similar to that of Grace Slick. Potter’s cover of Jefferson Airplane’s “White Rabbit” might as well have hopped in a DeLorean, traveled at 88 miles per hour and seen Jefferson Airplane live in 1967. [The Audio Perv]
