Another new festival for the Northeast!?! Yep.
Shireworks Productions has announced “the Big Up,” a 3-day music festival at Sunnyview Farm in Ghent, NY, on June 17-19 2010. Their inaugural lineup for 2010 includes Marco Benevento Trio, OTT, Telepath, and RAQ (in what they’re claiming will be the band’s only festival appearance for 2010).
Unlike the other new Northeastern fest (Nateva), this one appears to be launching as a smaller, more intimate kind of festival. Despite the smaller size, Big Up will feature performances on two outdoor and two indoor stages and no overlapping sets.
