Last week, Justin posted some new Disco Biscuits dates along with a video of one of their newer tunes, which had him questioning the band’s new sound and direction. Although I tend to agree with Justin’s take on some of the band’s newer material, this video from their performance at Fuji Rock is pretty killer, and in my opinion, is a solid example of a newer tune with a lot of promise. I especially love the ending where they progress into lighter, more major-key jam territory:
Sidenote: I can’t ignore that the opening section of the video is hilariously awkward. Let’s hope that went over better with the Japanese audience.
