I was told we were getting the announcement tomorrow, but in the meantime it looks like the map on Phish.com is confirming it — the Phish “Save the Date” Halloween Festival will be held in California! Kangfirmed! All rumors and half-confirmations are saying that the festival will be held at the site that Coachella is hosted every year in Indio, CA. I’m sure we’ll see some more official details emerge shortly.
We’ll be there.

well, guess we will finally have some more info soon. now the debate and several questions. can i do this after 4 days i red rocks? will that be too much phish this year? is it worth the trek across the country? how will it all shake out if it is on the coachella campgrounds? no alcohol, seriously? what will the musical costume be? epic? how angry will i be with myself if its epic, and i passed? no more vacation days, seriously? hmm… probably will end up going, all said and done.
I share all your enthusiasm about Cali coming back and i do too believe it will be in Indio, perhaps with some stretched rules for Phish. One thing picking at my brain is that i never saw Hawaii get taken off….not that i think its gonna be in hawaii, but is this really the end???

Phish does things their way. Always have. If anyone for one second thinks there won’t be camping for those who want to camp and alcohol allowed on the grounds for those who want to booze, you are kidding yourselves. Coachella is Coachella… This is PHISH.
The only thing i’m worried about is the festival ticket price. Hopefully they keep it under 200 to ensure the east coasters make the travel out for the first ever PHISH West Coast festival !
California, eh? The Northeast is getting screwed on this tour. I wish they would pay some homage to all of their loyal fans in New England. Oh well. To everyone who is attending the festival and any other fabulous west coast dates: Enjoy. I hope their musical costume is a whopper. Peace and Phish for all.
you can argue east coast west coast all day. the south has always gotten left out, except for a few dates here and there in GA & the carolinas. either way, still pretty excited to see what happens.
