I love Phish!. One could even say I had a borderline unhealthy obsession with the band throughout highschool and college... attending somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 Phish Concerts (including an entire tour in the summer) and keeping my large collection of live recordings in heavy rotation wen I wasn't "on the road"...

Idolator can go eff himself. Since when is his (presumably) mid-thirties self entitled to the rights of the band? He should shut his selfish mouth and let all the people at the sold out shows enjoy themselves, exactly like they are going to.

What a scrooge.

Welcome back Phish!!!

There's always a percentage of a fanbase that refuses to buy into a new direction or phase of a band. Idolator seems to think that Phish shouldn't return without a better reason than simply wanting to play. Personally, I don't even care if they're strictly doing it for the money (I'm not saying they are). If they want to jump on stage and rip through their classics, I'm all for it.

There were times during shows in 2003 and 2004 when I wasn't convinced the band was having a good time. You can't expect them to ALWAYS be pumped up for a show, but there was a different vibe post-hiatus. It seems like this time around, the band is actually reinvigorated and enthused about the reunion.
