The 8th Annual Lebowski Fest is returning to Lousville, KY this year on July 10th-11th, and they’ve nabbed Rob Riggle as one of the acts set to open the festival celebrating all things The Big Lebowski.
Daily Show correspondent, actor/comedian Rob Riggle will perform at the 8th Annual Lebowski Fest in Louisville on July 10th! Rob has appeared alongside Will Ferrell in Stepbrothers, on The Office and Arrrested Development, and was also a cast member on SNL for 2004-2005. Rob was born in Louisville and will be returning to headline the Movie Party before the film screening. Music by Black Diamond Heavies will kick things off.

Late last year I attended the Lebowski Fest here in San Francisco and saw three really odd musical pairings to begin the night of the Movie Screening, the official kickoff to any Lebowski Fest. It was a wild time and seeing the movie with a set of like-minded individuals that tended to shout and laugh at the same lines I did was quite a blast, but at the same time I had seen the movie so many damn times that I found it to be tedious to have to watch it at a bar while standing up.
They probably could have just shown this version and gotten the same effect…
