Much respect to them for being very skilled musicians and all, and certainly playing quality tunes that beat the crap out of the mainstream but I guess I'm just too much of a jammer at heart. I really have to try to force myself to break out of the jam scene and I do, but what some would call "song based rock" usually only gets me goin for a set. Tea Leaf Green a couple days ago at Hawthorne theatre had some nice moments of musical creation but again by the end of the first set I was like "enough words, just play" Just a jammer trying to cope with a bit of disillusionment with the music scene that I was reading about on this blog a while back.
