I despise reunions. I saw the last so-called "pre-hiatus" shows in Mt. View, 2000, and that seemed a fitting conclusion to the work of 17 years. Getting out while the getting was still good. Everything after that, as far as I was concerned, didn't exist. Hadn't the "scene," such as it was, already reached a point where it was time to move on? There's plenty of other grooves worth dancing to, and a wonderful collection of recorded Phish shows to last us the rest of a lifetime. I'm happy enough with that.
